Our Reception First Aiders

IMG-4546
Our reception children are now fully qualified first aiders and what brilliant first aiders they are. After reading 'Zog' in Forest School, they wanted to be able to help people just like Princess Pearl.

book
Fred, the hero of Katherine Rundell’s adventure, is a passenger on a plane that crashes in the Amazon rainforest.
Fred ends up leading some fellow survivors to safety, but not before escaping fires, trapping deadly tarantulas and rafting down the mighty river as they trek through greenery that comes in “a thousand different colours – lime, emerald and moss, and jade and a deep dark black green that made him think of sunken ships”.

Warm welcome

Warm Welcome

Every Monday morning at St Columbas Parish Church in Wideopen between 10am and 12pm, the Church hold a 'warm welcome'. This means that the Church is open to anyone who would like to go along for a hot drink and a scone or a piece of cake. There are craft activities to take part in or if you'd prefer you can simply read a newspaper or do a crossword in the quiet of the Church hall.

Our New Play Equipment

Our new play equipment will be unveiled and ready to play with on Monday. Each year group will be timetabled a slot to play on the equipment twice a week, either at breaktime or lunchtime.
We do need your help. Before school when there are no school staff on the yard, can you please ensure that your children do not use the equipment. This needs to happen to ensure safety for all. Thank you in advance for your cooperation with this.
