Coldstream guards
Last week, the year 6 children had the fantastic opportunity to attend a concert by the Band of the Coldstream Guards at Newcastle Cathedral. It was a brilliant experience; the children got to experience many different instruments and the opportunity to listen to a live concert.

WOW Week

Our children from year 1 to year 6, took part in 'World of Work Week' this week with Julie Scott from North Tyneside Learning Trust. This culminated in a coffee morning, where parents came in to school to talk to the year 6 children about their jobs. Thank you to all who came; the children really enjoyed their session.

Harvest Festival

IMG-3935
Our Harvest Festival assembly was a great success. Each year group performed their harvest festival song and Reverend Pauline Pearson came into school to deliver the assembly. Thank you for your donations of food, we will be delivering them to Brunswick food bank and I know they will be very appreciative.

One of our focuses this half term is art. In year 4 the children have been creating their very own collages. I'm sure you will agree that their artwork is very impressive.

Book
Our world can be a bewildering place, especially if you've only just got here. Your head will be filled with questions, so let's explore what makes our planet and how we live on it.... Some things about our planet are pretty complicated, but things can be simple, too: you've just got to be kind.
A great book for preschoolers about to make the transition to school, this book helps to prepare them for their own journey in the world with a strong emphasis on being kind.
