Christmas Jumper Day 2021!

Jumper day
Jumper day 1
The children looked fantastic in their Christmas jumpers and accessories today. It was also Christmas lunch day today and as always the children enjoyed the festivities in the school hall. A special thank you to our catering staff for making it so special.

A Special Visit From North Gosforth Academy

Year 5
Year 5 had a special visit from some students at North Gosforth Academy. They split into groups to do a carousel of physical activities led by NGA students. The children had great fun!

Public Health Update

You will have no doubt seen, heard and read in the media the intensive coverage around the pros and cons of schools and other organisations continuing with their Christmas plans.

At Greenfields, we are very lucky to have much more space at our disposal than many other schools which allows us to operate much of what we have planned within our risk assessment.

In order for us to carry out our events next week, you must: -wear a face covering (unless you are medically exempt)
-take a LFT before coming into school and be able to show proof a negative result or be able to show your Covid Passport
-ensure no more than 2 adults per child attend an event

Please do be reminded that we should all be vigilant to symptoms for COVID and access a test for ourselves or our children in these circumstances. Please do, take the advice to access a PCR test if you contacted by NHS as a close contact.

Thank you for your on going support.

Staffing Update

Many of you will have become used to seeing Mrs Wilson's smiling face in the office. At the end of this term we will be saying goodbye to her as she takes up a new role at John Spence High School. Good luck Mrs Wilson, we will miss you.
Brave quote

Be Brave

In our half term value,
...be brave... we encourage children to 'confront your fears and take a chance.' This week our children have been rehearsing for their Christmas performances. It takes a lot of courage to stand up in front of an audience! Can you tell us about a time where you have been courageous?
