Year 4 Skipping
|
Last week, Gail from Skipping School came to introduce the Year 4 children to the 8 skills they will need to participate in this summer’s skipping festival. This included double bounce, side swing and the very tricky pretzel! They had such fun and can’t wait to practice with Mrs Armer and Mrs Banks.

Newcastle Eagle Basketball Game
Greenfields and the GFPTA have managed to secure tickets for a Newcastle Eagles basketball match on Friday 18th February at 7.30pm. The tickets will be approximately £4.50 depending on the number of tickets sold. Because the game is an after school event it will not be school led; children will need to be taken to the game by an adult. The game is being held at the Newcastle Eagle's arena on Scotswood Road in Newcastle. If you would like tickets, please complete the form, if you haven't already done so, by clicking the following link:

Reading recommendation
'Remarkably You' is a book about all of the things-little or small, loud or quiet-that make us who we are. With encouraging text readers will delight in all the ways they can be their remarkable selves.
|
You might go unnoticed, or shine like a star, but wherever you go and whoever you are... don't change how you act to be just like the rest. Believe in yourself and the things you do best.
