Greenfields'flags of hope
We have been patiently waiting for the weather to improve enough for the flags of hope to be put up around our school. Mr Watson has checked the weather forecast and decided that we're going to go for it...don't they look beautiful?
Each flag has a message from a child to remind us to keep a positive mindset, even when times are tough.
Well done children, I think they look spectacular! I hope you enjoy reading them as you collect your children from school!

Exciting news!
We know that for many of our working parents, finding quality childcare for your children which is local and where you know your children will be happy and safe, during the school holidays can be challenging.
We might be able to help!
If you would like to register your interest for our new service, please make sure that you have completed the form and returned to school so that we can begin to contact those families who would like to use our service.

Sports Day in an usual year...
It is with great sadness that following the announcement made by the Government on Monday, we will not be able to invite families to school for Sports Day this year. It is really very important to us that the children don't miss out on this important school event however. We will be hosting Sports Day on Wednesday 23rd June. So that you don't miss out, we will be taking lots of videos and photos so that you can share the event with us, albeit in a virtual way.
Thank you for your support.

Sports for Champions
As part of our active week next week, together with Sports for Champions, we will be hosting elite gymnast Jaydon Paddock in school on 22nd June. Jaydon will be talking to the children about the importance of hard work and determination and supporting them to complete a sponsored fitness circuit.
If you would like to sponsor your child to complete the circuit, you can either pledge a sponsor on the form that came home with the letter, or donate on our crowdfunder page using this link.
Please make sure your child comes in their PE kit on Tuesday.

Infection control
Please help us by ensuring that you and your families are also helping us by accessing the twice weekly lateral flow tests (LFT) which are now available to all families and that if you are eligible to take up the offer of a vaccination please do so.
If you, your child or anyone in your household develops symptoms, please make sure you book a test and isolate until you have the results.
Please make sure you read carefully in the information that is included in the letter from public health that is being sent out to families today.
Thank you for your continued support, we have worked so hard together
