Keeping our community safe
You will be aware from media coverage that the National Programme for the testing of asymptomatic school staff is beginning across all Primary schools.
Next week we will be sharing information with families about how this important additional step in keeping our community safe will work at Greenfields.
Inevitably this will mean that we may be isolating groups of children from school more frequently than we have done so thus far.
Thank you for your continued support in ensuring we can keep each other safe.

Thank you!
An enormous thank you to everyone who donated to the Usborne sponsored read before Christmas - what a lovely spread! They’ll be given out to classes for children to enjoy in their class libraries.
Well done to the Greenfields community once again!

Exciting news...
Next Friday we will be holding a fancy dress day treat in recognition of your hard work and commitment since the beginning of term. You can join in your lessons and come to school either in non-uniform or your best princes or superhero costume - you have been superheroes!
Everyone needs to keep their eyes open next week for a special letter coming through the post (if you are at school we will be giving this to you in class).

...be original...
This term the school value we will be focusing on is...
...be original..
~ never stop asking questions...seek out the answers ~
Be original is shown by the hands on our logo; they represent the importance of fostering our children to be questioning and evaluative of all they see and hear. This term you will see that children are encouraged to think originally about what they have learnt, develop an insatiable hunger for knowledge and question everything.
