What a Trip!
|
|
Year 1 had a fantastic time at Farnley Farm this week. Farnley Farm is a working farm so the children got to experience what life is really like for a farmer. They met Farmer Joe and Farmer Matty who took them to see lots of animals, the tractors and they even got a chance to go pond dipping!

Muddy Bairns
Our youngest children just love to get outside and explore. Here are some of them exploring Forest School. Judging by the looks on their faces they are having a wonderful time.

On Thursday, our KS2 school council went into our community to deliver some special letters. They are very excited to continue to build community links and work with people who live in our local community.

We teach the children every day that they don't need to be perfect to be the amazing children they are; they are perfect just the way they are.

Poor Duncan just wants to colour in. But when he opens his box of crayons, he only finds letters, all saying the same thing: We quit!
|
Beige is tired of playing second fiddle to Brown, Blue needs a break from colouring in all that water, while Pink just wants to be used. Green has no complaints, but Orange and Yellow are no longer speaking to each other.

The battle lines have been drawn. What is Duncan to do?

Forest School

A huge thank you to Newcastle Building Society for rebuilding the fence around our firepit in Forest School. The team of 9 built the fence in a day! The fence is already starting to sprout so is classed as a living fence. We are very grateful for the community support.
