Community Hub
At Greenfields we are all about community! In September 2024 we launched our very own Community Hub in response to rising challenges in our local area.
We were lucky recipients of a National Lottery Community Grant and with this, and the kind help of other local businesses and charities, we are able to offer the following support to ALL who need it:
Food Bank and Clothes Swap
Our Food and Clothes Bank is open Mon-Fri from 9.00am to 3:15pm. You don't need to make an appointment or be referred; it is free at the point of access. Baby and Toddler Group
Every Tuesday afternoon from 2pm-2:45pm we run a free baby and toddler group in our Hub. No need to book! Just pop in and make some memories with your little one.
Warm Space
If you would like somewhere warm to enjoy some company and food you can call into our Warm Space sessions on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10:45am-12.00pm. Just drop in and enjoy! You can also call into the Hub any time for a warm up and a chat. Our fab volunteers and staff are always happy to make a cuppa.
Groups and Classes
Want to help?
We are always accepting donations to our food bank of long life products with good shelf dates on them, e.g. pasta, rice, canned food and cereals. We also have a stock of sanitary and hygiene products such as hair and body wash and menstrual products...If you can spare some donations, we will happily accept.
If you would like to get involved, or have any ideas about what else we could offer, get in touch! Call the school office or pop into our Hub to speak to staff and volunteers.
