School Council
Our school council meet every month to discuss issues, represent their peers, and help make decisions about school life, from improving the school environment and suggesting ideas to organising events and charity fundraising. At Greenfields, our school council have created their own charter which links to British Values:

September's meeting
The first big job our school council had, was to decide on the house treats for Autumn 1, Autumn 2, Spring and Summer:

October's meeting
In October, the school council discussed how to plan and improve our school discos. They asked their classmates for their views before the meeting to make sure everyone's voice was heard. The school council then pulled everyone's ideas together to decide on the games, playlist and snacks and worked together to create posters for the lower and upper school disco.

At this meeting, the school council also thought hard about fundraising for the Theatre Royal pantomime trip at the end of November. They decided that each class would take part in a sponsored walk. The funds raised went straight towards the cost of transport to and from the Theatre.

November's meeting
At the start of November, the school council met to discuss Children in Need and our upcoming Christmas movie night. They discussed options with their classes, before meeting as a council to put forward each year groups ideas:
