'Lovely, supportive school that has children’s development at their heart'

'My child is supported at every level of her SEND needs. We have regular TAF meetings and there is great communication with all the staff.'

'High teaching levels across the board. The school has a great ethos, encouraging children to achieve their best in everything they do. Regular awards and certificates are given out to celebrate all learning. The school certainly makes my child feel valued and her opinions count. I would highly recommend this school to anyone. It’s warm and welcoming environment gives me as a parent a great sense of relief.'

At Greenfields, we pride ourselves on the opportunities we give our children both inside and outside the classroom. After the Stargazing evening, we asked families to give us some feedback:

'What a lovely evening we had as a family. There was a very relaxed atmosphere and the sessions were very informative - the kids loved being involved. Thank you to all the stargazing staff and of course the Greenfields staff as always for looking after us all and giving us another fantastic opportunity.'

'My son really enjoyed himself last night and has asked if we can take him to Kielder Observatory to learn more. The astronomers were really engaging with the children and their enthusiasm for astronomy really showed. He did not stop talking all the way home about how cool it was to see Saturn’s ring and moon through the telescope. Thank you for arranging this.'
