A School Council, Rights Respecting Champions & Value Ambassadors are a group of dedicated students who are elected to represent the views of all pupils and to improve our school. Our School Council & Rights Respecting Champions meet on a regular basis to discuss and resolve problems. These may include school lunches, behaviour or ideas for fundraising events or our school environment.

Our fantastic children represent the views of all of our pupils and get things done!

These are some things that make our School Council & Rights Respecting Champions effective:

• Regular meetings, both with a member of staff,
• A small but select council which represents Years 1 to 6,
• Good communication between representatives and their classes,
• Confidence to lead assemblies,
• Links to the School Governors and fundraising events.

The School Council will regularly update pupils in school, including contributing to the school newsletter with their initiatives and achievements.

Year 6 Value Ambassadors

When the children reach Year 6, four children are elected as our Value Ambassadors. Value Ambassadors are elected by their peers and are children who represent our school values – they are role models to all the children who attend Greenfields. Our Value Ambassadors help maintain good behaviour and support school staff with various tasks, such as assisting during events, leading our Friday celebration assembly, showing visitors around, and ensuring the school runs smoothly.
