There is something infectiously uplifting about Spring. You know its coming in school when you see children rosy-cheeked and playing in just jumpers. After all the changes we have faced in the last year, Spring is a reminder to us all of how beautiful change can be.
I have had the windows open in my office from which I can hear the children laughing on the yard at break times and lunchtimes, the mornings (and evenings) are lighter and our home learners have sent some some fabulous photos of ‘Spring’ things they have found on their local walks. All of these things together are a sure sign that there are far better times ahead than any we leave behind.
The announcement on Monday that we will be seeing you all back to school as left us beaming; there is a definite sense of hope that new beginnings are on their way…
…I don’t know about you, but I’m ready to welcome them in.
