E-Safety at Greenfields

E-safety is an important area of your child's education in today’s digital world and is embedded in their learning at school. We have security measures in place in school to help safeguard pupils from potential dangers or unsuitable material.  E-safety is discussed regularly with pupils in Computing lessons, PSHE and when applicable across the curriculum.

The document, 'Parenting in a Digital World', at the bottom of the page is a useful and thorough guide to supporting children with technology. We live in a rapidly changing world and although there are many positives to the online world, there are also risks, particularly for younger people. The document discusses age restrictions; digital footprints; accessing appropriate content; self-image and online bullying; mental health and jargon.
