Year 5/6 Football Tean
Mr Watson took our Year 5/6 football team to Lockey Park on Thursday afternoon for a football tournament. They won 5 games and drew 1, which meant they were the overall winners of the tournament. We couldn't be prouder of the positive attitude, resilience and overall impeccable manners they showed during the tournament. Well done!

North Tyneside Active Mile
Well done to our children, staff and families who ran the North Tyneside Active Mile on Thursday morning. Getting active is an important part of school life; regular exercise improves concentration, motivation and allows a re-focus on other tasks. The children were certainly ready to focus on their school work after the run.

Up on the world's highest mountain, the sky is tinged the black color of space and the air is almost too thin to breathe. How did Ed, a small, shy boy from a tiny New Zealand town, grow up to become the world's most famous mountaineer and adventurer? How did he climb Everest and do many other astonishing things? This exceptional picture book tells Sir Ed's story--a story of courage, skill and determination, and an inspiration to anyone who dreams of reaching the top.

At Greenfields, we encourage our children to explore, ask questions and be bold enough to change the situations they can. Can you go on an adventure this weekend? What questions can you ask?
We can't wait to hear all about it.

Sponsored run for Ukraine
Thank you to everyone who donated money to our sponsored run. We managed to raise an amazing £630 which will go to the Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC) who are providing emergency aid for the Ukrainian people; all donations made go directly to the people themselves.
