Headteacher's Message
We've had a brilliant start to the second half term of the year, with lots of exciting things happening in school. Thank you for the wonderful turnout to our parent's evening; we have so many lovely things to share with you about your children and this was the perfect opportunity for this.
|
Our Community Hub has started off well and we are welcoming more and more people to our groups. Remember the hub is for anyone in the local community so if you know of anyone who would benefit from our offer please encourage them to pop along.

This week, saw the start of Christmas at Greenfields with a visit to The Theatre Royal for Years 1-6 to see The Little Mermaid pantomime. The children were amazing and it was a privilege for the staff to see their faces light up as they watched the show.

Wow! I have to say, this years pantomime trip was one of the best to date. Your children were a credit to the school in their behaviour, manners and respectful attitude. It was a privilege to take them and see the joy and excitement the show gave them.

This is a story about a boy who loved the stars so much, he decided to catch one of his very own.
|
There once was a boy who loved stars so much that he wished he had one of his very own. Every night he watched the stars in the sky from his bedroom window and dreamed of how he could be their friend and how they could play hide-and-go-seek together. So, one day, he decided to set about catching a star of his very own…

Attendance Matters
As I am sure you are all aware, the government has issued new guidelines to schools about fines. We understand that it's the time of year where bugs begin and this can't but we expect all children to be in school if they can be.
|
Being on time for school is also extremely important. The children begin their learning as soon as they get to their classroom and it is important they don't miss out. School begins at 8.40am and ends at 3.15pm.
