Singing in the Community
The Wideopen community have been throughly serenaded this week with carols and Christmas songs to spread a little bit of Christmas sparkle. Each class had a carol singing afternoon or morning in the grounds of our local care homes and next to the Co-op. The children in Year 4 had an extra special tret as Mr Coverdale accompanied them on his guitar.
We have had lots of messges of thanks and many members of the public have commented on the beautiful singing and the exemplary behaviour and the polite way in whcih the children conducted themselves and represented the school.
