At Greenfields our out of hours provision is run directly by the school’s Governing Body for children aged from 3 to 11 years. The Out of Hours Manager is Mrs Davidson, who is supported by Mrs Howard in the mornings and Mrs Wheatley after school.
The Greenfields Out of Hours Club is open every morning during term time from 7:30 a.m. to 8:50 a.m. and after school from 3:05 pm to 5:30 pm (term time only). Out of Hours staff work as part of the school team to meet the needs of our children and families. All of our staff are fully qualified to work with children and have undergone an enhanced check from the Disclosure & Barring Service.
Children are provided with cereal and toast for breakfast in the mornings and a healthy snack in the afternoons.
We offer a wide variety of activities including outdoor games, arts and crafts, construction, games and puzzles, imaginary play and dress up, I.T, homework and reading area. In addition to these there is a planned activity each day which the children can choose to participate in.
How does it work? Sessions need to be booked in advance, any sessions required at short notice will be on a ‘first come first served’ basis, afternoon sessions must be booked by 1:00 p.m. that day and morning sessions by 5:30 p.m. the previous day.
How do I register my child? You will need to complete a booking form and sign a contract, both are available from the Greenfields Out of Hours Club or the school office.
How much does it cost? Information about charges is available on request. For more information please contact Mrs Davidson on 0191 200 7938 during open hours, or email us at: email@example.com. Alternatively you can leave a message at the school office.
