We welcome visits from prospective parents and carers. Please contact the school to make an appointment and we will be happy to show you around.
ADMISSION TO PRE-SCHOOL OR NURSERY
Applications for admission to Pre-School or Nursery should be made directly to school. If you would like an application form, please contact the school office on 0191 643 2801 or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Please note that admission to Pre-School does not automatically secure a place in Nursery and admission to Nursery does not automatically secure a place in Reception.
ADMISSION TO RECEPTION
Applications for Reception are submitted directly to North Tyneside Local Authority during the Autumn Term. Parents and carers are able to apply for up to 3 schools and the Local Authority send written confirmation of the school allocated during the Spring Term.
There is a standard Admission Policy operated by the Local Authority on the school’s behalf, this includes arrangements for the admission of pupils with Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities.
For in-year admissions, we have established a clear set of procedures for admitting new pupils to the school in order to ensure that their needs are fully understood prior to admission. We also aim to ensure that all pupils receive appropriate support on entry and are all treated equally.
North Tyneside local authority deals with admissions to our school for children of statutory school age, therefore parents/carers should contact the local authority to apply for a place at our school from Reception through to Year 6.
